Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 F/120 C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Unwrap all candy canes; breakage is acceptable.

  3. Place candy canes on the prepared sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

  4. Remove the tray. Using a spatula, lift one warm candy cane at a time and quickly mold it into the desired shape, cutting with scissors if needed.

  5. Set each shaped candy cane aside to cool. Keep remaining candy canes on the warm sheet; return them to the oven for a few minutes if they become too stiff to shape.

  6. Allow all formed shapes to cool completely until hard.
