Candy Acorn Cookies Recipe

Charming acorn-shaped confections are crafted using small peanut-flavored or vanilla wafer cookies, chocolate drops, and either chocolate or peanut butter morsels.

Instructions

  1. Unwrap chocolate drops and prepare small cookies, separating or leaving whole as desired.

  2. Melt either peanut butter chips or chocolate chips over low heat in a double boiler.

  3. Using a toothpick, dab melted chips onto the flat bottom of a chocolate drop, then press it firmly onto a cookie.

  4. Apply a dab of melted chips to the flat side of a small chocolate chip, then press it onto the top of the assembled cookie for the stem.

  5. Allow the confections to set for 10 to 20 minutes before serving.
