Cajun Shrimp Boil

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water with salt, lemon and onion slices, and cayenne, then cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Add the potatoes and simmer until fork-tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.

  3. Add the corn and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Introduce the shrimp and bring to a boil; cook until the shrimp are opaque, avoiding overcooking.

  5. Drain the ingredients and transfer them to a large serving platter, removing onion and lemon slices if preferred.
