Cajun Burger Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Combine paprika, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, kosher salt, thyme, black pepper, and cayenne pepper for the Cajun seasoning blend.

  3. Prepare the remoulade by combining mayonnaise, green onion, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, dill relish, and 3/4 teaspoon of the Cajun seasoning; refrigerate.

  4. Mix ground beef, minced onion, pressed garlic, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning.

  5. Form into four 6-ounce patties, making a thumb indentation in each center, then refrigerate.

  6. Oil the hot grates, then grill patties, indentation side up, for 5 minutes; flip and cook for 4-5 minutes more, or until internal temperature reaches 160F.

  7. Rest cooked burgers for 5 minutes, tented with foil.

  8. Serve burgers on buns with desired toppings and remoulade.
