A popular Spanish and Latin American espresso drink, Cafe con Leche, combines equal parts espresso and steamed milk for a simple, coffeehouse-style beverage at home.

Instructions

Heat the serving cup with hot water.

Brew espresso using a stovetop maker according to its instructions.

Gently heat milk in a small saucepan over low heat until steaming, stirring occasionally; do not boil.

Empty the heated cup, then fill it halfway with brewed espresso.

Pour steamed milk over the espresso, stir, and add sugar to taste.
