Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich With Ranch and Blue Cheese Recipe

Instructions

  1. Combine Frank's Hot Sauce, unsalted butter, white vinegar, cayenne, garlic powder, celery salt, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium pot.

  2. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for 10-20 minutes until smooth, then season with salt to taste and remove from heat.

  3. Reserve one tablespoon of sauce and store the remainder.

  4. To assemble, place half the cheddar on one bread slice, then add chopped fried chicken, a drizzle of Buffalo sauce and ranch, blue cheese, chives, and the remaining cheddar.

  5. Top with the second bread slice and butter the sandwich exterior.

  6. Cook the buttered sandwich in a medium cast iron pan or panini press over medium heat until both sides are crisp and the cheese is melted.

  7. Remove, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve immediately with extra Buffalo sauce for dipping.
