Brown Basmati Rice Pilaf Recipe

In a medium saucepan, heat butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. Sauté mushrooms until tender and golden brown, about 3 minutes.

Add chicken broth, salt, and thyme; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 to 55 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding wine as needed.
