Broiled Sand Dabs
Delicate sand dabs are easily broiled to a flaky, delicious finish.

Instructions

Preheat a broiler with the cooking rack 3-4 inches below the heat.

Rinse and pat sand dab filets dry, then arrange them skin-side down on a baking sheet.

Dot the filets with butter and sprinkle with salt.

Broil for about 4 minutes, until the fish flakes easily and browns slightly.

Serve hot with lemon wedges.
