Broiled Chicken Wings With Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and oil the rack of a foil-lined broiler pan.

  2. Prepare chicken wings by discarding tips and cutting each in half at the joint.

  3. Arrange wings on the oiled rack and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Whisk remaining ingredients to make the barbecue sauce. Reserve 1/2 cup of sauce; set the rest aside.

  5. Broil wings for 10-12 minutes per side, turning frequently.

  6. Toss broiled wings with the remaining barbecue sauce.

  7. Return coated wings to the rack and broil for a few more minutes, turning to heat both sides.

  8. Serve immediately or hold warm in a slow cooker or chafing dish.
