Breakfast Grilled Cheese With Avocado and Sriracha

A spicy breakfast grilled cheese features avocado, a soft-boiled egg, and a kick of chili sauce.

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water for the egg.

  2. Place one egg in boiling water, reduce heat to medium, cook for 8 minutes, then shock in ice water and peel.

  3. Layer one slice of bread with half the cheese, sliced avocado, the crumbled egg, a drizzle of chili sauce, the remaining cheese, and the other slice of bread; then butter both sides of the sandwich.

  4. Cook the buttered sandwich in a skillet or panini press until crispy and golden.

  5. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
