Bread Machine Pizza Dough With Wheat Flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 490 F.

  2. Add dough ingredients to a bread machine according to manufacturer instructions, then run the dough cycle. If your machine doesn't proof, transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it proof for 1 hour at room temperature.

  3. Once proofed, roll or stretch the dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thick.

  4. Sprinkle a pizza pan with 1 tablespoon cornmeal, place the dough on it, and prick it with a fork.

  5. Bake the dough for 5 minutes, then remove from the oven.

  6. Spread sauce, then add baked ingredients like cheese, vegetables, or meats.

  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, checking at 5 minutes to pierce any air bubbles, until the crust is browned and toppings are bubbling.

  8. Cool for a few minutes before cutting and adding any desired cold toppings.
