Braised Asian Baby Bok Choy

Instructions

  1. Halve bok choy and rinse thoroughly, separating leaves to clean.

  2. In a large saucepan, combine broth, butter, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic; bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.

  3. Add bok choy, cover, and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes until tender.

  4. Transfer bok choy to a serving bowl. Return the braising liquid to medium-high heat.

  5. Simmer liquid until reduced to 1/3 to 1/2 cup, then stir in sesame oil.

  6. Pour sauce over the bok choy and garnish with scallions or desired toppings.
