Instructions

  1. Combine blueberries, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt in a large skillet with a lid; stir and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in chilled butter, then stir in buttermilk to form dough.

  3. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough onto the hot blueberry mixture. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes, until biscuits are done. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
