Instructions

  1. Rinse and prepare blueberries, discarding any that are not plump and firm.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently for 10 to 13 minutes, then boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

  3. Remove the cinnamon stick.

  4. Cool the chutney for 30 to 45 minutes to serve immediately as an appetizer over soft cheese, or cool completely and refrigerate in sealed containers for up to two weeks.
