Instructions

  1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.

  2. Combine 1 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons paprika, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder in the saucepan.

  3. Simmer the mixture for 5 to 8 minutes.

  4. Optionally, add the remaining 1/4 teaspoon cayenne for a spicier sauce after tasting.
