Berry Trifle Recipe

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, whisk heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add confectioners' sugar, mascarpone, vanilla extract, and lemon zest, whisking until light and fluffy.

  2. In a bowl, toss raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries with sugar and lemon juice; let stand for five minutes.

  3. In a trifle bowl, alternate layers of cream, cake cubes, and one-third of the berry mixture; repeat this layering process twice more, ensuring the final layer is berries.

  4. Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Garnish with additional fresh berries before serving.
