Beef Tenderloin in a Cream Cheese and Mushroom Steak Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a skillet, heat oil. Sauté onions for 1 minute, add mushrooms for 3 to 4 minutes, then add garlic for 1 minute before removing from heat.

  3. In a saucepan, combine cream cheese, half-and-half, and pepper; cook over medium heat until smooth. Stir in the sautéed mushroom, onion, and garlic mixture and keep warm.

  4. Grill steaks for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.

  5. Remove steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

  6. Plate steaks, top with the warm cream cheese and mushroom sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley.
