Beef and Pork Chili

Instructions

  1. Sauté the pork, ground beef, and onions in oil over medium heat until the meat is browned; drain excess fat.

  2. Stir in the garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, jalapeños, crushed red pepper, beans, beer, and water.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.

  4. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour, stirring frequently.

  5. Cover and continue to simmer for approximately 1 additional hour.
