Basic Baked Chicken Breasts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).

  2. Line a rimmed baking pan with foil and lightly spray with nonstick oil.

  3. Pat 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breasts dry, arrange them on the prepared pan, then brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and onion or garlic powder.

  4. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165 F (74 C) internal temperature.

  5. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or dicing.

  6. Serve.
