Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and melt butter.

Mix cocoa and hot water with melted butter; set aside to cool.

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt into a large bowl.

Whisk milk, egg, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.

Mash 2 medium ripe bananas to yield about 3/4 cup.

Stir mashed bananas and the cooled chocolate mixture into the milk mixture.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.

Fold in chocolate chips.
