Baked Teriyaki Salmon Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and cornstarch in a bowl to make the marinade.

  3. Place salmon fillets in a bowl with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

  4. Arrange the marinated salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, reserving any leftover marinade.

  5. While the salmon bakes, heat the reserved marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat until thickened, adding water if needed.

  6. Remove salmon from the oven and spread the thickened marinade over each piece.

  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions, then serve.
