Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F with the rack in the center, then line and grease a baking dish.

  2. Wash and pat dry halibut fillets, rub them with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Combine Creole seasoning, paprika, thyme, and oregano in a bowl, then apply this mixture to the tops of the fillets.

  4. Place the seasoned fillets in the prepared pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cooked through, reducing time if pre-seared.
