Baked Sea Scallops
A quick and simple baked scallop dish features tender scallops tossed with butter and seasonings, topped with breadcrumbs, and is excellent served alone or with pasta.

Preheat the oven to 425 F.

In a large bowl, toss the scallops with melted butter, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.

Spread the seasoned scallops evenly in a 2-quart baking dish.

Mix panko and olive oil in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture over the scallops.

Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until the scallops are opaque throughout.
