Baked Salmon Steaks With Sour Cream and Dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C). Butter a shallow baking dish.

  2. Place salmon steaks or fillets in the prepared dish.

  3. Combine lemon juice and onion, then sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of this mixture over each salmon piece. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes (15 minutes for fillets), until the fish flakes easily or reaches 145 F.

  5. Spread sour cream over the salmon, then sprinkle with lemon zest and dill.

  6. Return to the oven for 3 minutes.

  7. Serve hot, optionally with lemon wedges.
