Baked Raisin Pudding

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, and butter; boil for 5 minutes.

  3. Pour the hot syrup into a buttered 2-quart casserole dish.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, raisins, milk, and vanilla; blend until smooth.

  5. Gently pour the batter over the hot syrup in the casserole dish.

  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

  7. Cool slightly before serving.
