Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Arrange quince halves cut-side up in a 9x12-inch baking dish, then top each with 1 tablespoon butter and 2 tablespoons sugar, and pour hot water around them.

  3. Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours until golden and soft.

  4. Let stand for 15 minutes after removing from oven.

  5. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream, custard sauce, or cooking liquids.
