Baked Maple and Brown Sugar Butternut Squash Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and spray a baking sheet.

  2. Peel the squash, remove seeds, and cut into 1/2 to 1-inch cubes.

  3. In a bowl, combine the cubed squash with a melted mixture of maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg.

  4. Spread the squash on the baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.

  5. Remove the foil, stir the squash, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until tender.
