Baked Honey Garlic Spareribs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F (165 C) and line a large baking pan with foil.

  2. Remove the silverskin membrane from the back of the rib racks, then cut the ribs into individual or serving-size portions.

  3. Season the ribs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then arrange them in the prepared baking pan.

  4. Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour or until tender.

  5. Drain all excess fat and liquids from the pan.

  6. In a small saucepan, combine honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. Increase the oven temperature to 350 F (180 C), then drizzle or brush the honey-garlic sauce over the spareribs.

  8. Continue baking uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, basting frequently, then serve.
