Baked Ham With Sweet Bourbon-Mustard Glaze Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F.

  2. Heat honey and molasses, then stir in bourbon, orange juice, and mustard to create the glaze; set aside.

  3. Trim ham fat to 1/4 inch, place in a roasting pan, and coat with two-thirds of the prepared glaze.

  4. Bake the ham for 90 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze.

  5. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest once its internal temperature reaches 145 F.

  6. Transfer pan drippings to a saucepan, add remaining glaze, boil, then simmer for 5 minutes; strain the sauce.

  7. Slice the ham and serve with the strained sauce.
