Baked Haddock With Creamy Crab Sauce

Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).

Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in an 11 x 7-inch baking pan, then arrange haddock fillets, turning to coat, and season with salt and pepper.

Bake haddock for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it flakes easily.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat, stir in flour until smooth and bubbly, and cook for 1 minute.

Add green onions and 2 tablespoons of parsley to the flour mixture, gradually stir in half-and-half, and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Stir in crabmeat and season the sauce with salt and pepper.

Arrange the baked haddock on a platter and top with the creamy crab sauce.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
