Baked Green Tomatoes Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Slice tomatoes 1/2-inch thick.

  3. Arrange slices in a greased baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and spread 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar on each.

  4. Cover with cracker crumbs and dot with butter.

  5. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, until tender but firm.
