Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Lightly brush 4 to 6 flour or corn tortillas with 2 tablespoons peanut oil.

  3. Place tortillas in a single layer on two rimmed cookie sheets and season as desired with salt, chili powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, or fresh herbs.

  4. Bake for 5 minutes, then flip tortillas, rotate cookie sheets, and continue baking for 3 to 6 minutes until crispy and light brown.
