Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a 9-inch-square baking dish.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, then whisk in flour to form a roux.

  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.

  4. Stir in corn, sugar, salt, and pepper, then cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.

  6. Remove corn mixture from heat, stir in beaten eggs, then pour into the prepared baking dish.
