Baked Chicken With Smoked Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Line a roasting pan with foil, then pat chicken dry and arrange skin side up on the pan.

  3. Combine the remaining ingredients to create a paste.

  4. Rub the paste over the chicken pieces, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  5. Roast, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a thigh registers 165°F.

  6. Remove chicken to a platter, cover loosely with foil, and let stand for 8 to 10 minutes before serving.

  7. Serve.
