Baked Chicken Wings With Peanut Sauce

Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a large rimmed baking pan with foil.

Cut chicken wings at the joint, discarding the tips.

Combine peanut butter, brown sugar, water, rice vinegar, soy sauce, chili paste, sesame oil, and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, then remove from heat.

Toss the cut wings with vegetable oil and hot sauce in a large bowl.

Arrange wings on the prepared baking pan.

Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes longer until browned and cooked through.

Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl, add about half of the peanut sauce, and toss to coat; serve with the remaining sauce.

Garnish with chopped peanuts, if desired.
