Baked Chicken Parmesan Dinner
An easy chicken Parmesan dish features breaded chicken, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese, served alongside spaghetti.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C).

Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with nonstick spray.

In a food processor, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, basil, parsley, pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; grind until fine, then transfer to a plate.

Lightly pound chicken breasts to uniform thickness if needed.

In a shallow bowl, whisk an egg with milk.

Dip chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture, and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake chicken for 15 minutes, flip, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cooked through. Reduce oven temperature to 350 F (180 C).

In an 11x7 inch baking dish, spread one-third of the spaghetti sauce. Arrange the cooked chicken over the sauce, top with remaining sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the sauce bubbles and cheese melts.

Concurrently, start boiling salted water and cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain thoroughly.

Serve the baked chicken and sauce immediately with the hot spaghetti.
