Baked Chicken Marsala

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Pound thawed chicken breasts into thinner portions.

  3. Crush croutons finely in a separate bag.

  4. Melt 1/2 cup butter with a crushed garlic clove.

  5. Dredge chicken through the butter, then coat thoroughly with crushed croutons.

  6. Place the coated chicken into a shallow baking dish.

  7. Melt more butter with olive oil to sauté mushrooms until soft, then add marsala wine and simmer for one minute.

  8. Pour the sautéed mushroom mixture over the chicken breasts.

  9. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  10. Bake for 40 minutes.

  11. Garnish with fresh parsley.
