Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder on one plate.

  3. Whisk egg, milk, sour cream, melted butter, and garlic in a shallow bowl.

  4. Mix cheddar, breadcrumbs, crushed cereal, Parmesan, and thyme on a separate plate.

  5. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, then press into the cheese mixture to coat.

  6. Place chicken on a wire rack within a baking pan.

  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the chicken's internal temperature reaches 160°F.
