Bacon Wrapped Sausages

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil and a wire rack.

Partially cook the bacon in a pan until rendered but pliable, then cool it on paper towels for 5 minutes.

Wrap each sausage with a piece of the precooked bacon, securing it with a toothpick.

Roll each bacon-wrapped sausage in brown sugar and place them on the prepared wire rack.

Drizzle maple syrup over the sausages and sprinkle with pepper.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the sausages are hot and the bacon is crispy.
