Bacon Me Angry Cocktail

Fry bacon, reserving the fat; allow the fat to cool.

Combine vodka and cooled bacon fat in a jar, seal, and shake vigorously.

Let the mixture rest at room temperature for 4-6 hours.

Freeze the sealed jar for 30 minutes until the bacon fat solidifies.

Strain the vodka through a cheesecloth-lined fine mesh strainer over a clean jar, repeating the filtration if any fat passes through.

Transfer the clarified bacon vodka to a clean, tightly sealed jar, then label and store.

In a cocktail shaker, combine hard apple cider, bacon vodka, maple syrup, and bitters; add ice and stir thoroughly.
