Bacon and Sour Cream Skillet Chicken
A flavorful chicken and bacon dish is prepared with green onions, garlic, and a rich sour cream sauce.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375F.

Arrange bacon on a rack over a lined baking sheet; cook for 25-30 minutes until crispy.

Drain, dice bacon, and reserve drippings and bits.

Pound chicken breasts to 1/2 inch thickness; season with salt, pepper, and flour on both sides.

Heat reserved drippings and butter in a large skillet over medium heat; brown chicken for 4 minutes per side, then set aside.

Sauté green onions and garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute; remove to a bowl.

Return chicken to skillet, add chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Uncover, add the onion mixture and diced bacon; cook for 1-2 minutes until hot.

Transfer chicken and bacon to a serving dish.

Stir sour cream into the remaining liquid in the skillet, heating until blended but not boiling.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and bacon, then garnish with parsley.
