Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a 13x9x2-inch baking pan by greasing and flouring.

  2. Combine eggs, sugar, and oil in a medium bowl until blended.

  3. Incorporate dry ingredients and vanilla extract; beat until just combined.

  4. Gently fold in the baby food.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

  6. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

  7. For the frosting, cream together margarine (or butter) and cream cheese.

  8. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and milk on low speed.

  9. Mix until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary to achieve a spreadable consistency.
