Instructions

  1. Combine minced shallot (or garlic) and lime juice in a large salad bowl.

  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into the bowl, using both halves if small/medium, or one if large (reserving the other).

  3. Mash the avocado until smooth.

  4. Whisk in the oil to form a thick, creamy dressing.

  5. Stir in ground cumin and season with salt to taste.

  6. Serve with salad.
