Autumn Spiced Tonic
A festive autumn spiced tonic cocktail can be prepared with a homemade apple, pear, and cinnamon-infused vodka, ideal for fall gatherings.

Instructions

Prepare apple and pear by cutting them into large, seedless chunks.

Combine the cut fruit and vodka in a sealed glass jar, then shake well.

Store the jar in a cool, dry place for 3 to 4 days, shaking and tasting daily.

Add a cinnamon stick to the jar one day before the desired flavor is reached; seal, shake, and let set for another day.

Strain out the fruit and cinnamon, then transfer the infused vodka to a sealed bottle.

To make the cocktail, fill a highball glass with ice.

Pour in the infused vodka and simple syrup.

Top with tonic water and stir thoroughly.

Garnish with an apple slice.
