Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Combine all ingredients, except the oil, in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

  3. Divide the mixture into 6 (4-ounce) or 4 (6-ounce) portions. Form each portion into a long, thick, 1-inch-thick sausage shape, then insert a skewer through each.

  4. Lightly brush the skewered koftas with oil.

  5. Grill the koftas for 12-14 minutes, turning occasionally after 5-6 minutes until firm.

  6. Remove from the grill once the internal temperature reaches 165°F and serve.
