Arepas With Pulled Pork and Cilantro Garlic Mayonnaise Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Combine cilantro, lime juice, and garlic with mayonnaise for the sauce.

  3. Warm arepas in the oven for a few minutes or briefly in a skillet.

  4. Heat the pulled pork in a microwave or on the stovetop.

  5. Partially split each arepa, leaving one end attached.

  6. Spread 2 teaspoons of the garlic mayonnaise inside each arepa.

  7. Fill each arepa with 2-3 tablespoons of the heated pulled pork.

  8. Serve arepas warm; filled arepas can be wrapped in foil, chilled, and reheated in the oven.
