Preheat the oven to 375 F.
-
Thaw one puff pastry sheet and grease a 6-cup muffin pan.
-
Fill a large bowl with cold water and lemon juice.
-
Core and thinly slice apples, then submerge them in the lemon water to prevent browning.
-
Roll the thawed puff pastry into a 12x9-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
-
Cut the dough into six 2x9-inch strips.
-
Microwave apple jelly and apple brandy for 1 minute until softened and spreadable.
-
Brush each dough strip with the jelly mixture.
-
Microwave apple slices in batches for 45 seconds until pliable.
-
Arrange softened apple slices overlapping on the top half of each dough strip, ensuring the skin side is slightly exposed.
-
Sprinkle with apple pie spice, fold up the bottom dough, and carefully roll each strip, sealing the end.
-
Place the rolled strips into the muffin tin and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
-
Cool the apple roses on a wire rack, then dust with powdered sugar just before serving warm.
