Apple-Glazed Crockpot Pork Roast
A fragrant and tender apple-glazed pork roast easily prepared in a slow cooker.

Instructions

Preheat the broiler to high. Trim excess fat from the pork roast, then rub with salt and pepper.

Place the roast on a broiler pan and brown under the broiler, turning every 2-3 minutes, then drain well.

Arrange apple quarters in the bottom of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, then place the browned roast on top.

Whisk together apple juice, brown sugar, and ginger, then spoon the mixture over the roast.

Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours, or until the roast reaches at least 155 F and is tender.

Remove the roast, tent with foil, and rest for 10 minutes.

Slice the roast and serve with the cooked apples.
