Instructions

  1. Wash and slice fresh apples and pears.

  2. Combine the sliced fresh fruit, dried pears, and gin in a 1-quart Mason jar; shake well to mix.

  3. Seal the jar and store it in a cool, dark location for one week, shaking daily.

  4. Begin tasting the infusion after four days, and once the desired flavor is achieved, strain out the fruit solids.

  5. Return the infused gin to the cleaned jar and store it as you would other spirits.
