Apple and Ginger Tea Recipe

Instructions

  1. Cut apples into large wedges, discarding cores and stems, and slice unpeeled ginger into small pieces.

  2. Combine the prepared apples, ginger, and other non-sweetener ingredients in a pot, then cover and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. Stir in your preferred sweetener, turn off the heat, and let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.

  5. Taste and adjust sweetener as desired, optionally adding ground cinnamon to each cup before serving warm or chilled.
